Very little surplus food was delivered to City Harvest’s Acton Park warehouse this evening so I spent most of the shift helping the team to get the warehouse tidy, which involved sorting and washing crates, disposing of out of date food and (sadly) pouring away gallons and gallons of milk that arrived too late to be safely redistributed .
