More tea, Vicar?
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Bexley Food Bank in Bexley.
- Thursday, 28th of January 2021
- Led by Tim Dickson
We were back at Bexley Foodbank again this sunny morning, with Martin, Sarah, Johnny and Sean working alongside the manager Gill and her regular volunteer Linda to get provisions ready for two van collections.
In all we loaded over a tonne in weight of tea bags, pasta, cereals, tins and biscuits from the storeroom into the vans. But, as we know at GoodGym, many hands make light work!
Cargo dispatched, we got busy in the stockroom sorting donations of tea and biscuits into crates by their expiry date. Is there GoodGym badge for crate-packing and stacking?
