This past Sunday - which was Mothering Sunday - 8 GoodGym runners took part in the Cardiff Bay 10k. It was a cool and breezy day, but that didn't deter our runners who managed the 10 kilometers all in good time. They were cheered on along the way by a GoodGym Cheering Squad, complete with GoodGym feather flag. Along with a lovely medal, all runners received (yet another) red technical t-shirt to add to our collections. The Cardiff Bay 10k is part of the Run4Wales series, which includes the Newport 10k in May, the Barry Island 10k in August and new for this year - the Porthcawl 10k in July. The Bay one is a great flat, fast route which takes runners through the Bay landmarks - through the oval basin in Roald Dahl Plass, past the BBC studios, out and back on the Barrage, past the Norwegian Church and behind the Senedd Building, to end up with a dash back along Lloyd George Avenue to the finish. Well done all runners, and thanks again to those who cheered us on!
