It was so lovely to be able to help Mrs P with her shopping, she was very grateful to see me and it bought a smile to her face. Small things make a difference in someone’s life at this time. I called her when I was on my way and she was waiting by the door when I arrived. We had a little chat and she had told me she had just got out of hospital so was very grateful. I ran to Sainsbury’s and got everything on the list. I returned and left it in her doorway. We wished each other happy new year and I said big hug to her. She was happy. Dee x
