Mrs D was well prepared with a bucket of gardening tools, canes, wood chipping and even a selection of gardening gloves! She had realised that both front and back gardens would be too much for me to do on my own so I set to work on the front garden pulling up the weeds, cutting back the pungent heather, spreading bags of wood chips and tying canes to the rose bushes to stop them from becoming unwieldy. Last task was a quick snip of some bind weed across the back door to stop it creeping into the living room and potentially being a trip hazard. Mrs D was very pleased with how the front garden looked.
