No holly, just lots of ivy
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 30th of December 2017
Braving a bracing, blustery Saturday morning, Judith and I visited Miss T at her lovely home, where she was looking for help to tidy up and cut back the undergrowth in the front garden. We spent over 75 minutes tidying up the borders, chopping back the overgrowing weeds and pulling out some seriously resistant ivy from all round the front of the garden. We filled 6 bags, had one very welcome cup of tea provided by Miss T and got asked by a passer-by for our card (presumably business not Christmas). A great way to start the New Year weekend.
