No landings at chair traffic control
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.

The lovely Ms J welcomed us with glasses of squash and showed us the armchairs she needed moving out of her flat.
Squash is exactly what the chairs didn't do, and after several attempts with the first one we realised this wasn't going to be a simple task. The chair wouldn't fit out the door! We raided the toolbox and found some screwdrivers to take the feet off, hoping that would make the chairs small enough. However there was still no budging. We tried every angle we could think of but it wasn't getting through. Knowing we just needed about a centimetre more space we used our screwdrivers on the door and managed to get the door off its hinges.
Huzzah! This gave us enough room to wiggle the chair out of the lounge. However we had another battle ahead of us - the front door! With this being a fire door, there was no way to take it off its hinges, and the chair simply wouldn't fit through. Therefore we had to reverse everything we had just done, including putting the door back in place, and leave Ms J with a lounge looking exactly as it was when we arrived. We were sad to say goodbye with the armchairs still in place, but she assured us that she would be able to convince one of her son's to come and break them up into smaller pieces.
