Natasha, Libby, Katrin and Rebecca, from GoodGyms across London, came together this Monday evening to help Mr K return from hospital.

Mr K is currently unwell and being looked after at hospital, away from the support of his wife. In order for Mr K to be cared for at home space needed to be cleared in the lounge for his hospital bed.

Mrs K greeted the four at the door, slightly concerned that the furniture would be too heavy, but you should never underestimate GoodGymers! The four made quick work of the double bed in the upstairs bedroom, taking it outside to allow space for furniture from the lounge. They hit a small snag with the wooden bed in the next bedroom, however with thanks to a helpful neighbour soon had the tools to dismantle and remove it.

With upstairs cleared the four could now move the two armchairs upstairs out of the way. Unfortunately strength and determination can't take you too far if what you're carrying is too wide to get through!

Not deterred from completing the task the four soon came up with a new plan. They moved the smaller furniture upstairs instead, creating enough space to rearrange the armchairs and sofas. Finally an accessible clearing was created, ready for a hospital bed. Now Mr K can be in his own home in just a few days.
