Libby run to visit an isolated older person for the first time.
Libby has just done their first run to visit an isolated older person. This person will act as Libby's Coach; helping them to keep motivated to exercise. In exchange Libby will drop in each week for a chat.

Waltham Forest Report written by Ant Withstandley
I'm kinda, sorta tempted to copy and paste last week's run report here as tonight was less of a sequel and more of a remake. Like all the best remakes (think Peter Jackson's 2005 King Kong), it was even better than the original. Once again we had tea, once again we had biscuits, once again we had paint and once again we had hill reps. This time though we had more and longer hill reps! I could tell everyone loved this by the collective groan when I uttered the words "and now for five hill reps of this massive steep, long hill", or words to that effect.
To be fair, we had to do something as our destination of Greenleaf Road Baptist Church is about 1-minute's run from our base at Mirth. Fortunately, Walthamstow is not short of hills, so we didn't have to venture too far to find our Everest.
Anyway, enough of hills and back to painting. The crew done a right bang-up job tonight. This room is taking shape now and one more visit should just about finish off its transformation from its drab 1990's colour scheme to a lovely bright white.
That's about it other than a couple of important dates for the diary:
This Friday quite a few of the Waltham Forest crew are showing up in town for The Unofficial GG10th Birthday Party. Please come along.
As next month happens to be December. We thought a Christmas Party would be nice. Check out the details and register your interest here

Waltham Forest Report written by Ant Withstandley
Last night saw the dynamic team from GoodGym Waltham Forest (GGWF) pick up where we left off last week. The task in hand was to continue our three-week project to build, fill and plant a large planter with the inspirational and award-winning Wood Street South Gardening Club.
There to meet us with our task instructions was our cheerful point-man, Stavros. After checking the instructions from local gardening guru Tim Hewitt, we split into two groups. Group One took care of the planter by installing a lining and moving it into place. Group Two headed to the compost at St Mary's Church to fill barrows with matter and transport it to the planter. No easy feat when the compost and the planter were about 500 meters apart.
Digging in a graveyard at night is always a little bit spooky and it's thanks to Jo Stevens for today's Shakespearean pun! Anyway, dig they did and it wasn't long before many mounds of mulch made its way over to the planter. Here the two groups converged to fill said planter.
With it being the first Wednesday of the month, after our work was done, it was time to get all social. This month we headed to Crate for some fantastic food although with the plunging temperature meant the alfresco setting was only for the hardy crew from GGWF.
Next week is Planters III, The Return Of The Return Of The Planters. [Sign-up here].

I'm sorry but this is one of the best punned titles I've ever seen. Calling Pritesh and International Pun of the Month!
