Tower Hamlets Good Gym ended the year on a high, and not just because we were up ladders. There was paint sniffing, zero interval training, and longer in the pub than on run.

For our final task of 2014, we had to brush up on our decorating skills and muster all the community [white] spirit we had, in order to paint the Weavers Community Centre. Luckily we had experienced ex-painter Steve in our mists to gloss us about and get us in order. We bristled while we worked, covering an immense area and took the matt-er of fact approach that it was better to gloss over the dodgy bits and keep rollin [rollin', rollin']. Some people felt a bit dizzy, but turns out it was just emulsion taking us over.

After the run, we painted the town red with some festive drinks. Have a punderful Christmas, from everyone at Tower Hamlets GoodGym!

NB: Apologies that watching paint dry would have been more entertaining than this dire pun report.

I was freezing the entire time. I knew I needed another coat.
