No working at a snail's pace for us
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 19th of May 2019
Here's what Miss M of SW11 had to say about the mission:
'Thank you GoodGym! Miss E is very pleased with her Garden and said the volunteers were very pleasant.' - An email we received earlier from the referrer of this task, well done both!
Karen and I turned up to find a garden overgrown with weeds and infested with snails (we forgot to take photos but trust me, there were a lot). I ambitiously (/foolishly) said it would take us only half an hour- it ended up taking 3 times that but the time flew by with Ms M keeping us company and a couple of the friendly neighbours popping by. 30 (+60) minutes later we left Ms M with a garden she can enjoy for the summer
