On the fly
8 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Barnet.

This week 8 GG-ers ran 6km delivering flyers for the Barnet Furniture Centre.
We were joined by GG tourist Oisin - give him a cheer!
We started with a quick warm up by the Phoenix, focusing on glute activation. If you have a desk job, chances are you have a lazy butt - so actively waking it up before a run makes it easier to engage – which means you'll run better, faster, longer.
Once all the warming up was out of the way, we headed off. We ran past probably some of the nicest houses in all of London. We then split into two teams for a leaflet drop through several streets. We were hoping all the people feel inspired to donate their old furniture to BFC for upcycling.
We then paused on an empty street to work on running drills. Tonight's focus was arm drive.
Then it was time to head home. Paul lead the speedy team, while Freya was in charge of the less speedy team.
All in all we were back at base, stretched and full of chocolate chip cookies by 8.20pm. See you next week when we get to work on the rose gardens - BRING A TORCH.
Taking photos in the dark was too hard, so we just have the group shot this week!
