Dream team Meggie, Ana, Claire and Tara braved the rain for another productive evening at the Maidenhead Community Allotment.

The to do list today included weeding, hedge trimming, edge cutting, and picking... and just look at those clear beds and tidy edges and hedges in the photos - s-kale-fully done ladies!

Mission accomplished, and some freshly picked figs and greens for the road were well deserved.

Tara, Meggie and Ana went on a post-mission rainbow hunting run, while Claire went on a shed key delivery mission on her bike. What a great start to the week!

This task supported

The Maidenhead Community Allotment is run by a group of volunteers, who grow food to share with local residents, the users of the Boyn Grove Community and Resource Centre and Maidenhead Foodshare. They work with Men in Sheds, who are based on the same site. Men in Sheds is an initiative to combat loneliness by providing a space for men to connect and chat over practical tasks.
