You would not have recognised Woking Park this morning; it had been invaded by the St Andrew's School community. The invasion was organised by Jenny, today's Run Director, who is a parent at the school. Her aim was to introduce junior parkrun to as many children as possible while encouraging parents to volunteer on Sunday mornings. I believe Jenny achieved her goal.

In addition to St Andrew's school, several families came from Guildford junior parkrun. Their own venue was closed this weekend.

Most of the volunteers's positions were taken by the children: First Timers Welcome, Main Briefing Leader, Warm Up Leaders, Barcode Scanner... As a result a record 229 participants were cheered on the course by many many supporters.

Well done to James and Adam who took part in the for Sutton 10 K. James managed to gain a magnificent PB. You are both champions.

Well done Wayne for carrying training despite your broken wrist. Lauren and Holly we hope you are recovering well from your injuries.

This coming Wednesday there are two group runs: - at 6pm Litter Picking with the Run Company; - 6:45pm Hill Training at Lightwater Country Park.

In the meantime happy GoodGyming to you all.
