Junior Park Run
On this sunny morning 4 Goodgymer's gave up their time to carry out various volunteering roles at the junior park run.
Wayne & Melanie were marshals out on the course cheering and supporting the runners around the 2k course. James as well as being a marshal also made sure the course was safe to run around before the run began. Adam was one of the official timekeepers.
It was also Adam 400th good deed, what an amazing milestone achievement 🎉
It was great seeing Adam who has recently started running again after injury 😊
In total this morning there were 130 runners with the fastest time being an impressive 06:30. There were also 36 PB's fantastic running by everyone. 👍

The GoodGym team gathered at St John’s Lye to tackle the invasive laurel plants taking over the area.
Andy and Nadia ran to the location covering about 2.5km. 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏼
Wayne and Anne arrived fresh from supporting the junior parkrun, ready to lend a hand. 🪚
Working together, the team cleared a large section of laurel near the stream, helping to improve biodiversity and open up the woodland. 🪵
The event was a great example of teamwork, with everyone contributing their energy and enthusiasm. Their efforts made a real difference to the local green space and supported the Woking Biodiversity team, part of WEAct Woking.
