Ms A needed help connecting to her local wifi network. It is an open public wifi network and so I helped to explain that she will not stay connected everyday and may have to ‘reregister’ on the portal, and that it is not the council deliberately cutting her off. We figured out what to do and I wrote down the steps in case it happens again, so that she can either try to follow the steps herself or ask someone to help. Once connected, I guided her through sending an email to her daughter and having a tidy of her junk folder. Glad to have helped get her online and hope she can now do her shopping and emails again!
