What a brilliant evening at GoodGym Bexley this evening. Being a new Goodgym group, tonight was going to be our longest run to a task that we have ever done. As we met up there was ansense of nerves and excitement going on. On top of this it was a very warm evening. But was all this going stop us, no way hose'............ After our warm up we headed out done Danson road. It was lovely running down the hills, but then I had a few comments in our conversation that we were going to have to come back up them. Yep, how awesome was that. Never shy from hills guys. They are just fab for your personal running development. As we run along pastures new we soon found ourselves heading into Blackfen and then onto Wellington Parade to tonight's task with the Animal Protection and Woodlands Organisation where we were greeted by Karri's smile, and a very welcome bottle of water. We are now experts in clothes and donation sorting. It's one of our favourite tasks to do. Like a well oiled machine we sorted through a fare few bags and boxes and got so much done. It's so forfilling and rewarding to actually do more then what the shop thought we could possible do.

It's so forfilling and rewarding to actually do more than what the task setters thought we could possible do.

After a quick rehydrate it was time for our good byes, oh and our maditory photos outside the premises. These are always fun. Woooosh!, it was now time to get back to Crooklog. Like an Indian arrow, or could I say, like an Eric Bristow dart 🎯 we headed back to base camp. Chatting about the task and other things we have been up to the past week the hill at Danson soon crept up on us. Hey, but we were buzzing, flying high, and tonight this hill was no match for team GoodGym Bexley. Consider that hill smashed 👊🏻😁 and never going to darken our thoughts again. On arrival to base camp Crooklog I was happy to report we had a few runners that were continuing there run back to their homes. Adding a further 3Ks to their evenings. Love it that you guys are leaving the cars at home and pushing your fitness, just brilliant 🙌🏻 Well, that's it for another awesome evening at Goodgym Bexley. We'd beat our running distance, helped an awesome local Charity, and improved our health and running skills. What more could you want. See you all next week 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻💪🏻
