Painting the Brown Shed
5 GoodGymers made their way 2km to help their local community in York.

Five GG Yorkies met at Poppleton Community Railway Nursery for a second mission.
This time we were tasked with painting some large shed doors a lovely shade of muddy brown - "Donkey Brown" Stef suggested. We donned our Arkwright's coats to keep our lovely GoodGym tops clean and after Stef had done a few patches with some primer, the brown gloss paint went on easily. The stepladders were no use to get to the top of the larger doors due to a slope, so we improvised and used a Black&Decker workmate bench instead, very carefully and sensibly (of course).
Within no time we had done the insides of the large and small shed doors so started on the outside of one of the smaller doors with what paint we had left. We will be back again to finish the job and no doubt various other tasks they have for us.
