Pouncing on a last minute mission request, two GoodGym runners signed up to run to help out Mrs A. Abi and I ran around 1.5km to go and help Mrs A (and her partner) get ready for her return from hospital.

Yes, we scampered over and waited kerbside for one of the hospital team, T, to show up and provide access to the property. T filled us in on what was needed, and advised that with Mrs A's partner present, she was keen on us popping on some plastic pinnies. Ready to get started, we quickly identified what needed moving (a bed - a beauty made of two more portable pieces), and where it'd need moving to (the front garden, ready for a council collection). As we worked, T checked in with Mrs A's partner and gave him an update on her upcoming discharge from the hospital.

In the other room, we cleared out the drawers under the bed, popped it apart and got moving. No awkward doorways to hold us back, we quickly got the bed moved out front. Exerting ourselves with the furniture wasn't quite enough, after bidding adieu to T and Mrs A's partner, we scampered off. Running uphill was involved 😅.

So many missions happening at the moment, remember you can check the listings here to see any more which need doing .
