Planting up a picture in Poplar
18 GoodGymers made their way 10.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

Last night a group of us headed off on an ambitious run to Poplar, a cool 5km from base. After a route winding through city roads, canals, and parks, all with lovely views of Canary Wharf, we arrived at Cotton Street for our task of planting bulbs. Some of us planted daffodils, some of us planted tulips (Apricot Beauties!), and all of us looked forward to seeing the colourful results in springtime.
The 10km run meant we were excused from doing training drills, so we split into three groups for the run back: Tom and others holding down the fort, a middle group splashing through puddles and finding our way back from memory, and some usual suspects racing ahead to the finish line. Back home amidst the fog machine, everyone stared at Will while he did yoga until Tom restored order and got us down on the floor for some much-needed stretching. Great work everyone!
