On a chilly Wednesday evening four good gymers met at Cranbrook community centre to help Janet with advertising for their Christmas party on December 11th.

Aine and Hester (confusingly two different people and not just Aine Hester) arrived first and received extremely detailed direction from Janets Santa Wishlist of everywhere she wanted the posters to be placed around the estate ("should we be writing this down"??). They then met up with Emma (who had valiantly run from City thameslink) and Jo and divided up the posters and spent a fun 45 minutes walking around sticking them to doors and fences with a quick stop back to Janet for even more directions!

We ended the evening with a quick selfie and an invite from Janet to come back on December 11th for the party!

Cranbrook Community Food Garden is one of the best established community gardens in east London.

This award-winning garden was designed and built from a desolate children’s playground nearly 10 years ago. The garden is maintained by residents of the estate and surrounding area, and aims to bring the whole community together to create social cohesion to this corner of Bethnal Green.
