Last night's group run saw 4 regular GoodGymers become Posties for the monthly Heaton's Post community newspaper.

It was a brisk and beautiful evening - red skies (shepherd's delight) and thankfully no rain. Lit with head-torches and laden with rucksacks of the Post, we took the scenic route from our base and down the river Mersey to a quiet residential street tucked away in Heaton Mersey.

The Heaton's Post is a wonderful community newspaper that displays all of the goings on in the local area. Our task was to deliver the batch to designated streets.

With talk of DIY (the toothpaste trick for hanging photos - google it!), the latest boxset much watch and breathwork retreats ... we folded, delivered and posted away.

Before the frost set in for the night, our task was complete and we 'lightly' (with empty rucksacks) jogged back to base.

Nearing 8km IN THE BAG Not BAG for a Tuesday evening

The Heatons Post
A not for profit monthly community newspaper for the Heatons and Reddish

We are a small team of 3 local residents who have produced a community newspaper for the Heatons and Reddish to inform, inspire and connect the local community with the news and activities in the area.
