(Re)stocking up the situation
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) in Birmingham.

I ran to the TAWS foodbank on the first day of the second lockdown to find it very quiet, inside the building at least. As Amy put it yesterday, perhaps this is the calm before the storm. I restocked the bagging area, finding along the way that some of their stock is winding down. For example, no milk is going in the bags any more. I then spent the rest of my time pushing the shopping trolley around to fill up food parcels for the volunteers delivering them around the city. As I started this, Amy arrived and got straight into more toiletry rescue, as she had been doing the day before and over many of her visits to the foodbank. She has created order out of chaos, as she clears up the broken containers and salvages the good ones. On her walk over, she began a mask challenge (https://www.goodgym.org/reports/the-great-birmingham-mask-off ) for GoodGym Birmingham, for any of our runners doing impromptu litter picks or plogs by themselves in lockdown, we’ll see who collects the most disposable masks along the way to highlight this irritating and unhygienic litter habit. We even got the chance to take the most socially distanced selfie possible, as she she looked out from her squeaky clean toiletry cupboard to where I was depositing the full parcels.
