Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

Share the love

If it looks like winter, smells like winter and feels like winter. Its probably winter. BUT we don’t care, short shorts, a small GoodGym tee and no gloves are still the look I am trying to maintain lol….. Last nights little jaunt around pretty central London was nooooooo different.

This week we were heading back down to SW1’s Community Radio Station for round two of our little renovation project.

We set off bang on 630 and slowly made our way to the most public place I could find where we discussed at great length the importance of a dynamic warm whilst jumping up and down and screaming numbers at each other. Smiles, smiles and more smiles from us and of course a look of confusion and FOMO from passers by.

On completion of lunging, high knees, quick feet and lots of waving we headed off through the park singing songs and exchanging stories about “That time when”

Two miles later we arrived at our destination, a quick handshake and high five from our hostess Danielle we were whisked upstairs into what would be our home for the next 45minutes…… Our task, a simple one, get as much wall paper and excess plaster off the walls as possible. And that’s exactly what we did.

We danced, we boogied, we raved it up as regardless of what we were doing…. They still had a radio station to run…. What music? Deeeeeeeep, Dark, LOUD House…… Is it even possible to stand still when this is on?

45minutes flew by and we were pleasantly surprised at how much had been done….. Danielle thanked us, offered some refreshing glasses of H20 we said our goodbyes and we headed out the door…

Our drills today…. Light quiet feet… move like a ninja… be efficient, slight lean forward, not a lean back and don’t send that heal crashhhhhhing into the ground… Condition the calves and smile….

We arrived back safely… stretched and we were on our way…. All this is 90minutes I hear you cry… Oh yes…. Come and get #FitForPurpose and for those of you who already are….. Continue to do small things with great love ;-)…

Thankyou for your time people….. till next week…..
