Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Kash
7 Pence and Lil' Kash didn't have any major gigs this Sunday, so they decided to take a job as backstage crew in East London where they hadn't been famous anyway. Or were they? Once they had been at Mr R's and his wife's venue where they fixed not one but two sound systems (or were they sheds?). This time, 7 Pence's and Lil' Kash's two favourite East Londoners had another cool job to offer. They needed a crew to construct a whole new stage! Or was it another shed?
When the West London rappers arrived at Mr R's, he was excited to see them. However, the construction task has been delayed. The backstage was overgrown with grass and Mr R couldn't get permission to build the new stage having a grass plantation at his venue! He asked 7 Pence and Lil' Kash to come backstage and roll some grass there.
The West Londoners got to work and pulled the grass off the ground. It rolled like a carpet and uncovered a layer of gold ingots hidden underneath - or were they paving slabs? By the end of rolling, 7 Pence and Lil' Kash ended up with four plastic bags of grass. What to do with them? Mr R had a perfect idea. He was going to make a deal with the neighbours looking for some grass. For compost. Mr R would give it out for free. You never know when you'll need a couple of favours. And no one likes to be indebted.
Mr R offered 7 Pence and Lil' Kash tea but they were in a rush. They were hired by Bethnal Green Food Bank to unload a van with a famous band's sound equipment this afternoon. Mr R insisted that they take the Crunchy Oats & Honey cereal bars with them before they go. The rappers could not say no to him. After all, no one likes to be indebted.
