Rose (or froze?) to the occasion!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 19th of January 2019
On a chilly Saturday morning Stephanie and Rebecca arrived at Mrs K’s house to help trim back some of the rose bushes. We started in the front, which eased us in to what was a big task. After filling up one bin bag we headed into the back garden to see what awaited us. We trimmed (and then some) about five bushes of various sizes and took back some weeds as we went along the way. By the end we bagged up about eight rubbish sacks! Hopefully the trim will keep the beautiful roses coming back when summer arrives. Once we were done running was necessary to make sure we could feel our fingers and toes again :)
