Ceiling, Ivy and Heather met the Victoria Park rangers on this bright but chilly evening for week two of distributing several tonnes of sand around the children’s play area. Luckily, the pile of sand had been moved closer to the play area earlier in the day, so the trips with the barrows weren’t so lengthy this week. Ceiling demonstrated good form so as not to tired our arms and backs when shovelling the sand, which had been weighed down a little by the previous day’s rain. We topped up the areas most in need of fresh sand, around the wooden house and the edges of the playground.
