After a very wet morning, i managed to get to the garden site nice and dry. Mr M D was pleased to see me, I asked for tool and equipment, got on with the job as rain was forecast.

The garden was slightly neglected so I tried to clear as much as I could so Mr M D can have the natural light into his basement flat, especially important for him in the coming shorter days as his eyesight is fading. It made a difference to him and I hope he will again ask someone else to go in to clear out the rest. Then he may think of how to make it a nice garden in 2022. I worked solidly for over 90mins and was pleased that I cleared out the area, also threw out all the rubbish (likely from his neighbours upstairs/next doors) in the garden.

Mr M D insisted on giving some refreshment and we had a good chat about our interests and background. I like to think I left Mr M D happier then I arrived.
