Saturday Night Freezer (* ok it was actually Monday)
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Monday, 6th of December 2021
Ms R needed her old fridge moving from her flat downstairs so that it could be picked up. This all sounded very straightforward and Leonardo and I headed up to see Ms R feeling confident.
When we arrived, we found that it was a huge fridge freezer that needed to be moved and the lift that had been promised, did not seem to exist!
In time honoured Goodgym fashion, we did not let these difficulties deter us and we set to work, manoeuvring the fridge freezer round some tight corners and down the staircases.
After a couple of hairy moments on the stairs, we got down to ground level and dropped it off at the pick up point.
Ms R was very grateful for our help and we headed home feeling very satisfied with our work!
