Mr. D asked if we could make a start on the front garden. This would make an instant impact to the front of the house and make it looked a little more loved. He asked if all the weeds growing in the pea shingle could be pulled up and the hedges given a good trim. The hedges were quite overgrown and he was particularly concerned that they were causing an obstruction on the public path.

Vicki got straight to work pulling up all the grass and weeds in the pea shingle, while John got stuck into the hedges. I am not sure he has a career as barber in his near future but the hedges did get trimmed right back.

Vicki helped clear up all the hedge trimming while John finished up the last bits of hedge. We had run out of bags to put the trimmings, so after consulting with Mr. D, we piled the trimmings up next to all the bags.

After a final tidy up John went back in to show Mr. D some photos of what we had done. Mr. D was very pleased with John & Vicki's and John advised him to get in contact to arrange for another visit to tackle the back garden. It's quite a big garden and will probably need more than one visit.
