Busy week of collecting tubs and taking them to local Greene King pubs to be recycled.

9 goodgymers gathered their Christmas cards and dropped them at the wonderful Hive to be transformed into gift tags.

What a lovely way to start the day - helping the great Fawcett Road Greening Group with weeding, planting of bulbs and shrubs and adding mulch to planters and pots in Southsea.

It was cold but the hot chocolate and mince pies afterwards consumed next to a roaring fire soon warmed us up!

What started as a quick litterpick turned into a full-on treasure hunt! Among the more unusual finds was a lost trainer, a toy bottle and a plastic Christmas decoration that had taken refuge under a tree that it resembled.

We were also very pleased to discover a popcorn bush in the park!
