The birds were singing and the butterflies fluttering - Baffins is looking great. Glad to say there wasn't much litter this morning.

its amazing how much litter two goodgymers can find in just 30 minutes!
Two bin bags were filled, plus half a burnt traffic cone and a broken child's scooter picked up.

This week we've seen lots of activities for Diabetes Awareness Week, demonstrating true GoodGym spirit in the fight against diabetes.
Some of us opted for walks, whilst others opted for runs, and some bike rides too! A huge shout out to Tracey in demonstrating true warrior spirit, and to Lucy and Abby who took part in the Hoppit Half Marathon and Marathons.
Well done everyone. It's so good to see you all moving and making the most of the week!

How do you lose just one shoe or boot? It happens so often in our parks and green spaces 🧐
We found two on this sunny litterpick as well as food waste and paper from the nearby big billboard.

The grass and flowers have grown quite high here now presumably thanks to No Mow May. Beautiful but makes it a bit trickier to find the litter. Half an hour was all it took to make a difference.

Three crustworthy GoodGymers delivered a slice of joy to poorly children in the wards at QA Hospital this week. Armed with boxes of delicious pizza, feom the wonderful charity Sophie's Legacy they dough-lighted young patients with every cheery delivery. Spirits were topping the charts as cheesy grins spread faster than melted mozzarella. The trio, clearly on a knead to help, brought comfort with every crust-carrying step. From ward to ward, this saucy mission was all about spreading love, laughter, and a pizza happiness.
