Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Rachel
This Wednesday, Darren, Emma, Mikey and Rachel ran to help Mrs S prepare to move house.
Mrs S is moving to London and needed some help getting everything ready for the movers coming the next morning. Mrs struggles to do this on her own and so called upon the help of the friendly GoodGym runners to run and lend a hand. Everyone quickly got stuck in, Darren and Mikey got to work shredding away whilst Emma and Rachel ran up and down the very skinny stairs to the bins outside. Serenaded by the relaxing hum of the shredder we sorted through the pots and pans and other treasures to work out what was staying and what should go to the charity shop. Emma and Darren popped downstairs to the garage and swept up the leaves, and were blessed with luck after a black cat crossed their path! Eventually the shredder got too hot so we left it to recover and collected up the goodies for the charity shop so we could drop them off on our run home. Darren quite liked the look of a little pocket book of positivity, so if you need any positive thoughts he's the man to go to! Mrs S was really appreciative of all the help and wished us well for our run home.
