I’m always impresssed by the commitment of GoodGymmers, but Kati Law excelled herself by turning up a whole hour early for last night’s Community Mission. Whether by design, or perhaps accident she put the time to good use and when I arrived at Ravensknowle Park she was already well stuck into the weeding.

And there was plenty of weeding to be done, along with removing old growth, cutting back, collecting litter and generally improving the appearance of the Memorial Garden which had been somewhat neglected due to lockdown. I’m not saying we got the job entirely done, but the six GoodGymmers certainly made a dent in the task, even with the limited tools we had available.

Thanks to Kati Law, David Bilton, Tom Locke, Zena Whalley, and Catherine Gormley for their gardening efforts, it’s another GoodGym job done! Well done also to everyone who ran to last night's task.
