Dave and I had a slow meander along the footpath bordering Winston Churchill Avenue.

It was slow progress because there were so many small pieces of litter and endless cigarette butts.

We picked and picked, re-traced our steps and picked again. There were still more cigarette ends alongside the path.

"Butt" it's cleaner than it was when we started.
