Welcome to your special GG Islington Run Report, Valentine's Day edition.
YOUNG LOVE
Wow, eight first timers. Big hand for Nicky, Nicky, Nicola, Jess, Maz, Cath (not Caz or Caz), Charlotte and Josie
DEVOTED
Off to St. Luke's we went tonight. Aidan took the speedy group and Kike led the rest. Since there were a whopping "we-don't-care-about-the-cold" 33 of us there were not enough tools for us all to work at once.
No worries: half of us did some circuit work while the rest continued to fill planters with compost and topsoil and give it all a good turn over. We then swapped half way through and the circuiters became the workers.
SWEET
Thank you Nina for this week's homemade treats. Yummy gluten-free banana and walnut cupcakes. I had two :)
NAUGHTY BUT NICE
And thanks Steve for bringing along a box of biccies that fell off the back of a council lorry and should keep us going for quite a while.
HEARTFELT
Steve has also done 200 good deeds now!
BE MY...?
Is Valentine's day a load of old rubbish? A few of us thought so, a few of us liked it. Most didn't care. So, go on, do what you want tonight.
