Sorting, Packing & Having a Rice Time
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) in Birmingham.
- Saturday, 25th of July 2020
- Led by John Hayes
Today, Ryan and I went along to Aston University to help TAWS with sorting and packing food as part of the BrumTogether movement to get food ready for vulnerable people.
Both Ryan and I started with packing bags and we went round with trolleys and filled them with a mix of food items.
Ryan then moved on to decanting and labelling up bags of rice and pasta from larger 5kg bags. He did a great job and ensured there was plenty of both for the packers to put into their bags of food.
The time flew by and, after helping with tidying up, we headed home.
