To spice things up and have a change of scene, Lynn, Jo, Rachel and Rosie met at Southsea Hoverport for our weekly 30 min run which allowed us to head towards Old Portsmouth. We couldn't take the usual coastal route through the fun fair due to the new flood defence work so we headed slightly inland and past the garrison church before heading back onto the 'hotwalls' to see a lovely sunset. We then headed along the walls and went past Spice Island (or Portsmouth point taking in the views of the Prince of Wales aircraft carrier, passing the headquarters of BAR yacht racing and turning back onto the path towards the garrison church. We stopped and did 5 mins of reps up and down the steps to get the legs moving and the heart pumping before taking a gentle run back to our start point at the Hoverport.
