Carers Matter Norfolk asked GoodGym Norwich to list a mission to help Mrs L clear clutter from her backyard and house to the front garden. It was being collected by a local man with a van the next day. As I was working from home that day, I signed up as it was only a 2.5 mile run (one way) across the city to her house and I could make the mission time from home post-work.

Mrs L welcomed me on my arrival showing me an eclectic mix of items to move to the front of the house. She also introduced me to Benjy the Bengal cat who was her "therapy cat" with apparently "10 different types of miaow" in his vocabulary. He was mega friendly constantly trying to sit on my shoulders and asking for a bit of fuss. A handsome chap, just like the photo shown, though I didn't manage to nail him for a real photo.

One hour later, plenty of chat with interesting stories from Mrs L who seemed to welcome some different company and everything had been moved for collection in the morning. She was very grateful for the help and I left her planning her chicken korma for tea! :0)
