Spring is in the Air
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Luton.
- Friday, 9th of February 2024
Had a surprise when I arrived at Mrs Jo’s today as the door was answered very quickly. A man’s head peered round the door and I was taken aback at first and explained who I was and why I was there. I must have been looking at him suspiciously as he tried to reassure me that he was a bona fide visitor. He was in fact Mrs Jo’s nephew who had been sorting out LPAs etc. It was good to put a face to his name, and to have a chat and catch up things that Mrs J gets confused about . He then left and Mrs J and I settled down too our usual chat. She points out that there were snowdrops in the garden and one of the trees was also in bloom. We were both glad that spring May be on the horizon. Looking forward to see what comes up in the garden before my next visit.
