Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Last night was one of those nights that remind me why GoodGym is the best thing I do every week.
Firstly there were four shiny new faces. All really lovely faces, backed up by really lovely people and I loved chatting to you all. I hope you enjoyed your first GoodGym outing... and come back.
It was also great to have 'Blackshirt Beth' on had to remind me to get everyone signed in... as she does every week.
The reassuring faces of James and Tom meant I could entrust them to lead us safely to Vauxhall FoodBank whilst I brought up the rear.
Whilst bringing up the rear I was able to have a good gossip with Maya and the girls about all things dating and boys.
Once we got to Vauxhall everyone got stuck in and Sarah from the Food Bank said 'it was the most helpful whirlwind she'd ever seen'.
A special mention at this point to Jackie who was delayed on the tube so missed us leaving Papa's yet still sprinted up to join us and help... that is dedication.
Once the task was done we headed into the pleasure gardens to complete a 100 squat challenge (ouch) before the 2 miles jog back... or sprint if you were one of the ones who shot off.
Becca was on hand to bring up the rear and herd everyone in.
So last night was a night of everyone helping... not just the task, but me. And that is why I love GoodGym Lambeth.
Oh, and thanks to the ladies who helped me find me keys at the end too.... that was pretty hairy for a bit there.
