We were a bit rudderless on the Friday morning shift as Chris, the Foodbank Shop manager was not around. With a sprinkle of suggestions and a big dollop of self-confidence, I went into the sorting area of the Foodbank to "shop" for the shop i.e to pick up things to top up the Shop shelves. As far as hierarchy goes in the Foodbank, the Shop can take whatever they like. I picked up some uncommonly seen items like sugar, toilet paper, pesto paste along with the regular fare of baked beans, pasta and biscuits. After a stuttering start, we steadied ourselves and were stocked and ready for the customers 15 mins before opening time ๐Ÿ™Œ
