It wasn't quite a flood, but it was definitely a pretty heavy shower, our first after weeks of bone dry GoodGym sessions. However there were definitely sticks, another two wheelie bins worth collected from around Christ Church yard to leave it looking tidier again.

The unexpected precipitation meant a slightly early finish, but David Bilton, Kati Law, Ben Godfrey and myself did our best to pick sticks whilst the sun shone.

Incidentally it was Ben's 100th Good Deed, and as such he had the honour of sporting the GoodGym Huddersfield wings for the session.

Church of England Church

We are a small Anglican Church, off the main roads of Huddersfield. We've just welcomed a new vicar in September but had a two year vacancy before that and it was hard for the congregation to keep up with tasks around the building. We'd really like some help tidying up the garden around the church - trimming shrubs and removing some, planting bulbs at the front of the church so it looks better next year, that sort of thing.
