Had a lovely break in my working day popping in to see Mrs J. She had forgotten that I was coming but was really pleased to see me. Sooty, her cat, also seemed pleased to to see me. He spent most of the time sat by my side on the sofa, enjoying having his head scratched, while Mrs J enjoyed hearing about my recent trip to Barcelona. As Mrs J talked about her hubby Harry she pointed to a photo on the mantle piece which was propped up against one of the clocks. She has four clocks in the sitting room but only one of them works, she said. But she likes to keep them all as they look so nice and remind her of happy times in the past.
