After a jogging up to Ms J's, Steve and I were welcomed in by her son who'd driven up from Kent. We were there to dismantle and move a bed to make room for a hospital one so Ms J could come home, but before we could get started her son filled us in on a bit about Ms J's life.

Turns out she's lived there for 50 years, worked in the theatre and had met Hardy from Laurel and Hardy!!! Always nice to hear a bit about who you're helping and after 50 minutes of nattering, we figured it was time to actually help.

Mattress off, drawers out, base unscrewed and then all carefully slid across the hall and into the spare room. Job done.

Nice work Steve and Samantha, and what an interesting life Ms J has had so far!
