We had a GoodGym TRIPLE WHAMMY today, with eight GoodGymmers braving the wind and the rain to help out in the community:

• Clare, Kate, Kit and I kicked off our Saturday with a group training session at Crystal Palace Park Run. Kit left us all in the dust (mud?) with his super speedy time but Clare's sprint finish with against an unsuspecting ParkRunner was worthy of an Olympic final. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

• We then headed up the hill to meet Nick, Sam, Emma and Sami at the Crystal Palace Museum where we helped John to excavate the water tower base. We were put to work hacking away at tree roots, clearing branches and tilling soil, getting pretty muddy in the process! 👷🏻‍♀️🌳🍂

• Once we were finished, Kate, Nick and I popped next door to the museum which was hosting the community activity day with the Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs. This was the event we delivered 800 flyers for a couple of weeks ago so it was great to see such a high turnout. Visitors were kept entertained with activities including an indoor history trail and a Crystal Palace VR experience. My personal favourite activity though was badge making, and Kate and I walked away with some very snazzy CP Dino badges. 🦕🦖
