Dave started GG Portsmouths relay outing by meeting the team at Eastney Coffee Cup.

After a successful handoff from the Southsea Striders team, Portsmouth Triathletes took a dummy baton into the sea for a 150m swim. They then passed it onto the cyclists who battled a head wind to bring the baton to the pier where the run team had jogged on ahead to wait. We then ran it up to the dday museum and trotted around the back to the newly opened Theatre of the Sea to be welcomed with a cheer by Pompey FC mascot Nelson and the deputy lord mayor.

After some photos, a lovely chat with the mayor (with a lot of history learnt!) Myself and Katie L readied ourselves for the next leg.
