Should be a pretty quick mission we thought - take Mr C's old recliner chair out of his flat to give him a bit more space now that he has a better new one. "How hard can it be?" someone might have asked.

Well, with a bit of manoeuvring we got the chair through one door, but then it didn't very much look like it was going to go through the next into a corridor that led out of the flat. We got it stuck in a way that made you wonder how on earth they got it inside in the first place?! Then we remembered - it's a recliner chair, one that nicely reclined into a shape perfectly suited to passing out of the front door and down the stairs without too much trouble at all. Clue's in the name really. We then left it as instructed for the council to collect, in front of the no fly-tipping sign. Pretty sure that was the right place...

Job done, we left Mr C to enjoy his dinner before a brief chat about sporting efforts recent (Isabel's 10k river swim, that is a long way to swim!) and upcoming (Matt's bit further than a marathon trail run in South Wales - hope it doesn't rain too much between now and November) and we were on our way. Good to meet you Isabel and Matt, hope to see you again somewhere!
