Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by York runner
Mrs V can't get down low to weed her beautiful courtyard garden any more and gardeners seem only to be interested in much bigger jobs, so Babs, Nicky and Nick stepped in on Sunday to weed, trim, clip, tug, pull, rake, scrape, scrub, hack, brush, sweep, snip, snap, tweak and tidy.
One hour later and one full green bin, the paths were clear, the gravel weed-free and the climbers back under control. Mrs V said it was a real weight off her mind and is happy to have us back later in the year.
Despite being horticulturally challenged we left the garden with all weeds out and plants still in!
As far as we know no special plants were harmed in the making of this mission.
