I arrived at Mrs J's house 15 minutes later than planned, thanks to an unintentional sightseeing trip caused by a few missed turns. She took me to her garden and explained that she was struggling to keep up with the weeds. A few tarps were laid on the ground to prevent growth, but it had limited impact. As I looked around, I noticed many stinging nettles, which brought back painful memories from my childhood. I started working right away, using a tarp to collect the rooted weeds. I knew the roots of this resilient plant could keep growing when left on the ground. I also carried stones and dirt to level the right-hand side of the garden and used pieces of concrete to create a flat surface, proving that my stonemason skills were far from perfect.

After 2 hours and 45 minutes of work, I cleaned roughly half of the garden, which Mrs J was pleased to see. However, she stated that she may need further help.

I gathered the tools I used, folded the tarps, and removed two big bags of weeds and some litter from the garden. When I was getting ready to leave Mrs J's house, I felt joy and delight at being able to help such a lovely person, no matter how small my contribution was.
