Arrived at 08:00, banging on the door and calling Mr. A's phone for fifteen minutes or so, when he opened the door I realised he was just taking his time as he had a cane to support his movements. A little bit dazed, Mr. A gave a very short list of bread, milk and tinned fish. I went over to the Tesco's on Rye Lane and got all the items...although, the shop was looking bare. The shop came up to £4 and when I went back. Mr. A had the amount in coins, so there was no need to do the admin for a bank transfer.

Nice one Sam, off to a strong start already for another year of good deeds!

Thanks so much. I am also glad that you waited, he didn't say anything about taking time to get to the door and I never thought to ask. When I booked this job he advised that he had no food so it is great that this went well.
